St Barths villa rental
La Récompense is a three bedroom, four bathroom villa in the peaceful residential community of Petit cul de Sac on the island of St. Barthélemy. A gated driveway with electronic access, exclusive to the villa, ensures your privacy.
Each of the three bedrooms has its own deck or terrace, and en suite bathroom. There is a fourth bathroom with outdoor shower by the pool. There are two European queen beds and one king, all in teak. Each bedroom is air conditioned and has either screens or mosquito netting. The bedrooms are all in separate areas, two are in individual cases (small houses) and one is on the lower level of the main living area.
The main living area of the villa is an open design consisting of the sitting room, kitchen, dining room and outside covered porch and terrace as well as the pool. The sitting room has flat screen TV, stereo with surround sound, complete with ipod dock and dvd.
The spacious kitchen is fully stocked with glasses, dishes and cookware. Kitchen amenities include thermador gas cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher and wine fridge.
You will also find a blender, toaster and coffeemaker. To complement the kitchen there is also an outdoor gas grill as well as a weber charcoal grill.
There is an indoor dining room as well as an outdoor dining table on the terrace, an outdoor cocktail area and daybed and lounge chairs for relaxing.
The charming pool with tropical waterfall is incorporated into the landscape, with stone walls reaching upward toward colorful gardens and dramatic rocks.
All of the furniture and many of the decorations were hand picked in Bali, much of the artwork is done by local artists or friends. The wood and stone used throughout the villa create a feeling of being close to nature and a part of the island.
