Helping to Make Your Stay Unique and Carefree
Living on the island for six years between 2001 and 2007, we became highly involved in the maintenance of the villa and the care of our guests. Being "on site" allowed us to recognize the "little things" that can make the difference between a good and a great holiday. We hope that our experience, even now that we have moved on, will make your stay relaxing and carefree. We have a great team in place now working to ensure your satisfaction during your stay.
We became managers of Belle Vue in 2001, then became owners in 2003. Since that time, the villa has undergone a number of renovations, the most recent completed in the fall of 2007. All renovations have maintained the integrity of the original design of the villa. This is a villa with a heart and soul which embodies the essence of St. Barth.
When you arrive at the airport in St. Jean, our villa manager Rachael will be there to meet you. If you are arriving by
boat, arrangements can be made for you to be met at the dock. You will
then be escorted to the villa and shown around. Feel free to ask questions
at this time!
For those familiar with the island, or those who are adventurous enough
and don’t need an escort, we will leave the villa open for you
and meet you soon after your arrival.
Celine will come every day, except Sundays and holidays,
to tidy up for you and do some light cleaning. If you prefer not to
have someone come everyday, that’s alright too! Everyone on our
staff is well known to us and has excellent references. We will do our
best to work around your schedule so as not to disturb you.
Marc Aubin, or one of his staff will come once or twice weekly to clean
the pool. Marc is a St. Barth and usually has a couple of good stories
and some local gossip to share for those willing to take a few minutes.
If you have any special needs or requests, please let us know prior
to your arrival and we will see what we can do.
Everyone who works for La Récompense is truly a friend
of the house, and they will do everything they can to make your stay
as enjoyable as possible.
